Fittings

Brassware and unions are extremely important and serve to make plumbing repairs and installations far easier. Here at Heating and Plumbing World, we offer a significant range of brassware fittings for a variety of applications. This includes products from manufacturers such as Hotun, AIC Heating, Altecnic Ltd, and Clesse.

Fittings available include compression test point adapters, reducing couplers, elbows, stop end caps, compression gate valves, tap connectors, and T-joints. Compression test point adapters are used in various applications such as pressure calibration, hydraulic systems, and LPG equipment installations.

Reducing couplers are specialist pipe fittings that can connect pipes/tubes of different diameters. These are made from brass, copper, or PVC and consist of two different sized threads on each side. Applications include plumbing systems and process feeder lines. Piping elbows are useful, small components that are used to change the direction/angle of a pipe run. These are available in 45, 90, or 180-degree versions and in various materials such as brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, PVC, and copper.

Stop end caps are used to "dead-end" the flow of water within plumbing systems. Brass stop end caps are a reliable choice for sealing pipes. Compression gate valves are used for controlling the flow of liquids through pipelines or pipe systems. They can be used above or below ground. These offer complete shut-off, are bidirectional, and ensure minimal pressure loss.

Brass tap connectors connect pipes/hoses to outdoor taps. They are durable, convenient, rust-resistant, and long-lasting. Equal Tees, also known as T-Joints because of their shape, are used to connect pipes/tubes of the same diameter. These have three ends of equal size, can be threaded or unthreaded, and can be used to join vertical and horizontal runs together.
