Gas analysers are portable electronic devices that measure the level of gas that is being emitted from appliances such as boilers or fireplaces. These are important from a safety perspective, as well as for checking performance. Here at Heating and Plumbing World, we stock a range of gas analysers including devices from well-known manufacturer Anton.

Anton have been producing analysers and equipment/tools for heating and gas professionals for over 25 years. They are perhaps best known for their 'Sprint' range of flue gas analysers. The Anton Sprint Pro Flue Gas Analyser range includes the Pro1, Pro2, Pro3, Pro4, Pro5, and Pro6.

The Pro1 is the most basic of the models and is suitable for determining CO: CO2 ratios, as well as the levels of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Oxygen (O2). This device is ideal for professional plumbers and oil/commissioning engineers.

The Pro2 Analyser measures combustion gas levels and determines CO: CO2 ratios. It also measures temperature (differential, flow, return and excess air), and calculates efficiency. It can be used to carry out sweep tests and ambient air monitoring. The Pro2 can produce room safety reports. Key features include: large function buttons, a high-contrast display, click-in flue probe connector, and condensation trap. The rugged, ergonomic design means it is highly-durable and easy to use.

The Pro2 is available on its own or as a kit. The Pro2 Reporting Kit (A), for example, includes the Pro2 analyser, USB charger, carry case, gas probe, pressure relief valve, infrared printer, pipe clamp temperature probe, and quick start guide.

The Pro3 offers gas leak protection, wireless connection to the smartphone App, and infrared connectivity. The Pro4 offers additional ambient direct CO & CO2 measurement.
