Danfoss S Oil Boiler Nozzles

The Danfoss S oil nozzle is a type of fuel nozzle used in oil-fired heating systems. The 'S' in the name refers to the specific spray pattern and angle of the nozzle. The Danfoss S nozzle has a narrower spray angle, usually around 45 to 60 degrees but it also comes with an 80-degree angle. The S pattern nozzle is designed for use in larger commercial or industrial oil-fired boilers, furnaces, and heating systems that require a more concentrated spray pattern.

Like the other fuel nozzles in our range, the S nozzle is designed to atomise the fuel oil into fine droplets for efficient combustion and heat transfer. The narrower 60-degree or 45-degree spray angle of the S nozzle allows for a more concentrated and focused distribution of the atomised oil, which can be beneficial in larger combustion chambers or applications with specific burner configurations.

There are a number of reasons why you may wish to replace your Danfoss S oil nozzle. Over time, oil nozzles can become worn or partially clogged which can lead to inefficient combustion, increased fuel consumption, and could lead to safety issues. Replacing the nozzle with a new Danfoss S oil nozzle can restore proper atomisation and spray pattern which can improve the overall performance and efficiency of the oil-fired heating system. If an older or lower-quality nozzle is being used, upgrading to a Danfoss S oil nozzle can improve the combustion efficiency of the heating system. Certain oil-fired boilers, furnaces, or water heaters may require or recommend the use of specific nozzle types, such as the Danfoss S pattern, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
