They are available in a range of designs and in sizes from 120 litres to 300 litres, and in most cases the neatly pre-attached pipework and accessories ensure there are few difficulties navigating them into position. A Kingspan unvented cylinder pre plumbed not only saves time on site but also ordering, locating and matching up parts. Pre-plumbed components typically include the pipework, pump, thermostat, programmer, inlet control set, valves and wiring box, so all you have to do is secure them in position and hook them up. A Kingspan pre plumbed cylinder has several design innovations, such as side tapping hot water outlets that make them even easier to fit and service while also improving their heat retention. Most varieties of Kingspan cylinder are available pre-plumbed. They include the solar indirect, Tribune Xe and Ultrasteel plus ranges. Typical volumes are 120ltrs, 150ltrs, 180ltrs, 210ltrs, 250ltrs and 300ltrs. Diameters remain standard and the extra capacity is provided by differences in height, which allows you to use the same enclosure for a new cylinder. For example, the Kingspan Ultrasteel plus 210 pre plumbed has a height of 1557mm and diameter of 550mm, including 50mm of CFC-free insulation. Single and twin zone variants are also available. The Kingspan Tribune Xe pre plumbed is designed for attachment to pumpless system boilers. The base vessel is slightly wider than the Plus range at 580mm. Like the Ultrasteel Plus, the Kingspan Tribune Xe pre plumbed contains its own expansion vessel and features side-mounted hot water draw-off.
